Born out of the UK Samba scene, Bird Service blend diverse influences such as indie, rock, funk, reggae with the rhythms of Brazil, to create quirky songs that reflect on life, love and the modern world. With rhythmically complex songs, full of hooky melodies and funky brass riffs, this Norwich 6-piece brings you a taste of the carnivalesque. Their new album, The King of Rust, is due out in the summer and they will be previewing new songs alongside material from their first album, …More or Less, and Marcus’ back catalogue of Brazilian covers.
