Tadi the Great is a Zimbabwean-born artist and DJ based in Norwich. His sound falls within experimental rap/spoken-word with influences from electronic music, his heritage, as well as the Black diaspora. A Brownswood Recordings’ Future Bubblers alumni, he has been called on to support acts such as Nightmares On Wax (as a DJ & as a Performer), DJ Yoda, Mom Tudie, GZA (Wu Tang), as well as playing at the renowned Jazz Cafe. Known for his eclectic DJ sets, which offer a fusion of soulful, percussive, and experimental sonics, this aspect of him is sure to be brought through to the performances and you’re sure to hear genre defiance, plenty of odes, as well as introspection.
